You...Gary,
I, too, saw that same show with Candice. You are so right! I still to this day have problems talking about what all Candice went through those first few months after she fell and broke her neck just a little over a year ago. Sarah was there to see her in Springfield, when Candice was still fighting to just stay alive. Who new what lay ahead for us to face the rest of the year?

Sarah said something to me on MSN Messager just last week about "How much both of our lives had changed in the last year, and how we all had to deal with so much pain this last year." How very true that is! We had to stand back and watch Candice learn to deal with her lifeless body, knowing there was nothing we could do to fix it for her. And you and Sarah had to face loosing your precious baby Carter, knowing that there was nothing you could do to fix his problems either. It is certainly understandable why we constantly ask God "WHY?", isn't it? Hopefully, we will get that answer one of these days!!!

Yes, we do hurt for a reason, physically and emotionally! I do hope you both release your pain and set it free, so you and Sarah both can begin to heal your broken hearts.

We love you guys and miss seeing you all at WPCC. Take Care and God Bless you both.

Yours in Christ,
Linda MinearLinda Minearhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18382467855223311911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26074780.post-1161365311182121252006-10-20T10:28:00.000-07:002006-10-20T10:28:00.000-07:00I watched this episode as well, and I actually loo...I watched this episode as well, and I actually looked at your site the day that you posted this, but I couldn't remember my username on here to leave a comment! Lol. I hope that you guys are doing well, and I completely agree with everything that was said in this blog. People DO hurt for a reason and it's ok... It's not just going to go away and keeping it all bottled up inside isn't helping matters either.. Just know that we are all thinking about you here and pretty much will never forget the impact you have made on our lives. I idolize you! There was a group of us who walked to raise awareness of liver disease in children. During our walk, I couldn't help but think of Carter. I hope that the research funds we helped raise will go towards a cure for Biliary Atresia.

Although we never meant in person, I feel like we've walked the same road to an extent. Your faith astounds me. There will be another liver walk next year - we'd be honored if you'd join us.Stacyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05784762797071642899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26074780.post-1160316923066537152006-10-08T07:15:00.000-07:002006-10-08T07:15:00.000-07:00Gary, I think you are right.
