Make Me A Blessing

I got to give someone a blessing tonight. It is the most wonderful feeling in the world when you can do just something small for someone else. I was staying in one of two parent rooms, and when I went to check on Carter before I went to bed (at about 11 p.m.), I ran into Kizzy, the mom I'd mentioned before that I got to pray for. We visited for a few minutes, and when I asked what she was doing there so late, she said that she just needed to be close to Tymon, her son, but that both parent rooms were full so she was going to sleep in the waiting room. Well, I didn't really need to stay, Carter was doing fine. So, I got to give her my room, and I came home.
God is stretching me in ways I never knew I needed to grow. I am so grateful that even in these difficult circumstances, He is molding me and letting me see His goodness. We are His hands and feet, and it's amazing to see the size of the footprint left from just the smallest of steps. God bless Kizzy and Tymon tonight!

Dear Sarah,
I have never met you, but I want to wish you a Happy Mother's Day! Annetta gave me Carter's blog site, and I am addicted! I can tell you are a loving, dedicated, and faithful mother, wife, and friend. Carter is very lucky to have you. Your story inspires me. There are so many praying for all of you. I know Carter will get well, but until then I pray that the Lord will give you the strength to deal with each day and obstacle as it comes to you, and also to savor the good moments along with it. So, enjoy your Mother's Day with your beautiful baby! You definately deserve it! I really hope today turns out to be one of Carter's good days! Take lots of pictures! :o)

Happy Mother's Day Sarah!

I just wanted you and Gary to know that I have been praying for you and your family. Carter is such a doll, and he is so blessed to have such amazing parents! I can't imagine how hard this is for you, but you two have inspired so many people. It is easy to forget how much we need to depend on God until something like this happens. I can honestly say that praying for you and your son has renewed my relationship with the Lord. Know that many people are praying for you. Enjoy your sweet angel today, and take time for yourself Sarah. Enjoy your first Mother's Day!

Dear Sarah
I wanted to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Mother's Day. I know that some day Carter will be able to thank you so very much for all that you have done for him.

I wanted to let you know that this morning at our church service, Carter were lifted up in prayer. We also included you and Gary.

I would like to share a little of a personal story. My grandson was born earlier this year being 6 weeks premature. The nurse told us that he might require oxygen and to be tube feed. He was lifted up in prayer from the time we knew that my daughter was preg. God answered our prayers for him. He was not put on oxygen or not tube fed. The nurse said that they could not explain why not. I know it was answer to prayer. We never know how God is going to answer, but I know that He does. I know that God is always working in every situation. Thanks for letting me share my story. I hope that you find encouragement in it.

God Bless You Richly,
Igleedtis (Monica's Aunt from Colorado)

Happy Mother's Day Sarah!

I think about you, Gary, and Carter often, and read your blogs daily.

I saw your father on Saturday and told him I read Carter's page, go into the comments, and then just sit there and not know what to say.

I'm sorry you all are having to go through this and I pray for God to give Carter strength to get healthy, and for the two of you strength during the wait.

They say God is not going to give you more than you can handle, but sometimes you wonder when he will decide what is enough.

Sarah and Gary you are so strong in your determination, your faith, and your love for your child. I admire you both so much.

Sorry if this doesn't make a lot of sense. I just wanted to let your know I am thinking about you and praying that he gets better soon.

Again happy Mother's Day

Whitney
