Carter's funeral will be Friday, May 26 at 1 p.m. at Wyatt Park Christian Church in St. Joseph, Missouri. Visitation and graveside information to come.

Thank you for stopping by this morning, it meant alot to the entire unit and I know it must have been very tough for you. You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers and Carter will remain in our hearts forever. He is at peace with God now, no more tubes, no more needles, no more pain. You have been a huge inspiration to many of us and I envy your strengh. I know God has big plans for Carter, and why shouldn't he?...he is an amazing little boy. Carter is a true angel watching over all of us. Please keep in touch and let me know if there is ever ANYTHING you need.

First, may I say that I think you two are amazing people and parents. I have admired the both of you for years. You are courageous and the most loving people I know. My heart is filled with love for the three of you. Carter was one lucky boy to be blessed with parents like you. I am here for you if you need anything. Gary, you have always been my friend at Target and I hope I can support you in the way in which you need at this time. I will be continuing to pray for your whole family through my Spiritual Group. It is very hard for me to say anything, because for the last few days I fought for Carter's life like he was my own son. You are the best parents and I know he truly felt that love all the time. The lost for everyone is so big, but he has made a place in the hearts of so many in his short time on this earth. We know we will all see him again some day and that is what keeps everyone going through these difficult times. I will keep in touch and keep you both in my thoughts and prayers. I will see you on Friday.

I am so sorry to here about the loss of your beautiful little boy.
I have been in that possision two
times myself, and it breaks my heart to hear that someone else has to go through such pain, and sorrow. God Bless you and help you through the bad times.
