It's been nearly a year since Carter's birth, and so many of you still look here with love and care for our family. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. But now, we ask for your help once again. There is a family in need of prayers. Last January, Blythe and Aron Daly lost a child, a baby boy, born still. His name was Lawson. God has given them another baby boy, born with some problems. His name is Landon. They are keeping a blog, and we would like to pass it along to you. Please visit it and read their story and see pictures of adorable Landon. And then pass it along to everyone you know.

P.S. We are doing alright. I know you are wondering, and waiting for some news. Are hearts are broken and we don't know how to fix them, but we are slowly learning to deal with our reality. We cling to each other, and we try to stay fixed on the hope that God promises us--1) we will one day be reunited with our Carter for all of eternity and 2) He still has good things in store for us. Thank you again for being a part of Carter's story.

I am going to Landon's page right now and I will be reading his story and keeping up to date with it just like I do with Carter. I love to hear from you guys... I will make sure and pass Landon's story along to all of my family and friends as well. Love you guys!
thank you so much for sharing your story and passing on landon's. i'm from emporia which is where landon and his family live. their site is how i got connected to yours. i am a mother--of an in-vitro baby who will be 3 the 29th of march. i am also a social worker and nursing student. everyday is a blessing with our caden and i am so thankful. i have often said that should something ever happen to him, i'm not sure i'd survive it. i mean it whole-heartedly. you are amazing people. there really aren't words to express my respect for you, your strength, and your willingness to let others see your pain and your joy throughout your much too short journey with carter. i know you don't want respect from us "window-peepers" of sort, you just want your carter. if only that were possible, i know you'd do anything. i think we all would. i am so sorry. carter truly was a beautiful boy on earth, and hard to imagine it--but i believe even more beautiful in heaven. as i carried my precious baby boy to his bed last evening, i cried and i prayed for you, your extended family, of course for carter, landon and his family, and for the safe keeping of my own miracle baby. i just wanted you to know, that yet another family has been forever changed by your beautiful angel, carter. take care of yourselves as best you can, and know that my family is praying and sending love your way.
